Irradiation Platform

An X-ray irradiator specially designed for irradiating small laboratory animals, cells in culture or any other small- or medium-sized specimen are available to you through the irradiation platform.

Equipment

X-RAD 225XL small-animal irradiator

  • Voltage: maximum of 225 kV
  • Current: 0.5–30 mA
  • Rotating platform
  • Cage with pie-shaped separator for irradiating 11 mice at the same time

Request for the use

We provide narrow technical support. We can do it for getting animal ethics approval if it is necessary. The platform meets the standard operating procedure M-7 developed by Université Laval’s Veterinary Services in close collaboration with our research team, refer to Section Reference Documents.
